This image probably a glimpse into my world of “The dark dog” as Churchhill would describe his approach to depression. Sometimes the richness of colour is too much and I find myself sheltering in the comfort of darker shades of blue and black. Gone are the bright tones of yellow and blue and I take pleasure in cooler sombre shades of black. Here is a study of a Poplar tree.
